At the Toss in the game between KKR and KXIP, Ravi Shastri announces that KKR Captain Gautam Gambhir would be spin the coin and he did so. KXIP Captain Murali Vijay calls heads. As the coin landing unfolds, it lands tails but referee still calls Vijay as winner of the toss.

Did referee hear the call wrong? Did referee read the coin wrongly? Was it purely incidental? It could be. However, it is said that there is no smoke without fire.
