In this blog, have tried to capture 3 things about Federer that you won't know even if your argue the above mentioned debate in favour of Federer.

1. Federer generates more backhand spin that any of his rivals
In the age of baseline rallies and two handed back hand, Federer's one hand class is key asset to his armoury. Facts suggest that when a tennis ball leaves his racquet, it may get upto 5300 revolutions per minute (RPM).

The nearest being Rafa Nadal at 4300 RPM followed by Novak at 2800 RPM and Andy Murray at 2500 RPM.

2. Federer doesn't believe in running
One of Federer's coach once said 'he moves like a whisper". On an average at Wimbledon 2015, Federer ran 10.13 meters per point while Novak runs 10.50 meters. Maximum running is done by Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray at 10.52 and 10.57 meters respectively.

It is said that Federer's game strategy does not rest at running. He plans serves, plays in a manner which can help him save stamina.

3. Federer's most successful coach? Mr. Roger Federer
This Wimbledon will be first association of Federer with Ivan Ljubicic but whatever may the outcome, he has been most successful when he coached himself.

8 out of 17 grand slam wins came when he had no coach. Arguably, he didn't need a coach when he was at this prime.

Off late Federer has been struggling to get past Novak who is form of his life. Novak is playing some brilliant tennis. Will this Wimbledon be any different?
