An Effort towards a better “Bharat” – Pragati Pathik

In today’s time where our materialistic needs have divorced the being human element in human beings, where are politicians may or may not keep their promises of a better India. Fortunately, we still have very few  people/organizations who work for the people, for the society, for the country.

They function via NGOs. NGO is non-profit making organization, which works for the welfare of others. All the colossal effort is put in so that our Bharat can graduate from the tag of developing country to a developed one. One such NGO is “Pragati Pathik”, who has been shaping others dream for very stretched time.

Pragati Pathik has been delivering free motivational workshops and camps across Bharat. All this is being done so that every individual, esp. the youth, becomes successful in life. A successful youth is the biggest asset for the country.

Some of the people oriented objectives of this NGO are –

1. To run FREE PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS.

2. To run FREE BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING CENTRE.

3. To run National Awareness campaigns and organize events to uphold the glory of our mother land.

4. To motivate individuals towards eye donation.

The continuous dedicated hard work of people behind this mission has been yielding stupendous results, to list a few of their ever aggregating achievements –

1     Organised FREE workshops and camps at various places across Delhi and educate children on what REAL Success is.

2.   Till date they have transformed more than 10,000 lives of youth and are working for our target of 1,00,000 youth (by Sept.2012).

3.   Conducting events and two events are permanent every year

a) HOLI MILAN – in the month of March to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood

b) EK SHAM DESH BHAKTO KE NAAM to spread the spirit of patriotism.

4.      Having launched eye donation trust called DEKHO-RE and have motivated more than 3000 people in pledging to donate eyes after death.

Conducting their workshops in corporates, schools, residential areas including backward areas aims to make new generation understand what the real meaning of Success is, it is not a destination, it is a continuous process and what all qualities are required to become a successful person, how important is discipline and Character for becoming a successful person, how Positive Thinking contributes in becoming a person to be successful.

Pragati Pathik also believes –

1.    Six Essential Qualities That Are The Key To Success: Sincerity, Personal Integrity, Humility, Courtesy, Wisdom, Charity.

2.    Many of life's failures are of people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

3.    Individual glory is insignificant when compared to achieving victory as a team

When one sees such high quality effort being put in by few people so that thousands or more importantly our “Bharat” can have a better tomorrow is just remarkable. If we can pledge to spare some time for our country, for our fellow citizens from our hectic life, probably the most satisfying thing for our soul.
